Let me first start off, with saying that I do not hate eBay. They run a really nice auction site, and
they've generated sales for me, that I might not have otherwise gotten.
With that said, it is my opinion that eBay could be running their systems better. They could be dealing
with fraud, they could put more time and energy into customer relations. My website will detail one
of my expirences on eBay, one that is not at all uncommon. What drove me to create the website? The answer
is simple -- eBay told me not to tell anyone. They told me rather than fixing a problem they were already
aware of, they wanted me to keep quiet so they would not have to deal with it. Little did they know, I'm not
the type who does what I'm told.
Please keep in mind this is only one way user's defraud others on eBay, there
are many more. I've decided it best to write only about
my own incident, and let others tell their own tails.
Check my links page to see
other websites dedicated to inform eBay consumers. If
you have such a page you'd like for me to add, feel
free to email
me the link :)
UPDATE: Oct 25th, 2000.
eBay threatens me with legal action due to them not
liking what they read on this site. Click
