I compile a list of all bright satellites that are normally visible to the un-aided eye. (visible without binoculars). Elements for these satellites are contained in 100 (or so) VISUAL, hosted on Celestrak by TS Kelso, and on Mike McCants' web site. Here are links to both.
VISUAL.TXT Satellite Elements (TLE) for almost all unclassified satellites visible to the naked eye.
VISUAL.ZIP
Same as above, includes bright satellites whose elements are not released
by NASA.
List of every SATELLITE ever
launched / cataloged.
QUICKSAT.ZIPA great satellite prediction program by Mike McCants. I'll help with any questions on operation.
SkyMap 6.5 by Rob Matson plots star maps, moon and planets, with and without satellite tracks. Finds Iridium flares. (This is at Mike McCants' home page. Click BACK to return here).

Recently, the term BLUE
MOON has been given to the 2nd full moon
in a month. This is Wrong!
It actually referred to the
3rd full moon in a season, when there are 4 full moons in a season.
Sky & Telescope magazine has
published the correct explanation based on research by me and other readers
at
http://www.skypub.com/sights/moonplanets/9905bluemoonfever.html
